And when Lizzie’s quest to stop those changes blows up in her face, taking her oldest friendship with it, she has nowhere else to turn but to Dante, with his killer blue eyes, his crazy-sexy smile, and his secrets… Secrets Lizzie can’t seem to leave alone, no matter how hard she tries…

This book was a quick light read. Although I have been drawn to the YA genre lately I must admit that perhaps this was a little too young for me.
This is a story of girl meets boy. They instantly dislike each other only to discover that they are more than what appears on the surface. End of story.
The issue that I had with this book is that although Lizzie was supposed to be a strong and independent individual I found her selfish and annoying for the first half of the book. I know that the point was that she grew as a person as the story evolved however it made it difficult for me to actually like her enough to root for her in the beginning. As the storyline progressed it did get better and I did end up in Lizzie's corner.
Overall a nice read with some minor flaws. I would recommend it to the young teen audience.
