He is everything I crave, all I desperately want—and he is everything I can’t have.
Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets.
My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan’s dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can’t fight.
And from the moment we touch—the passion between us consuming us both—I know that I will never be the same.

Kristine's Thoughts:
* I received a copy of this book from Random House Publishing Group via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.*
Let me start off by saying there is some serious heat in this book. I thought I was going to have to throw my kindle in the snow bank to stop it from melting! If you are looking for some pretty intense erotic scenes, you have found it with Wanted.
The plot...
I am not going to re-tell the story or synopsis because I hate doing that instead I will just give my two cents. Basically Angie has had the hots for Evan since she was 16 but was told to stay away by her Uncle Jaun. The first half of the book is filled with romanticising, chemistry, lust and the build up to these two characters coming together. This was my favourite part of the book and if I was giving a rating on this half alone it would be a 4 star. I could feel the wanting and longing and was silently routing for these two to finally give in. Props to J. Kenner for so clearing describing the emotions to the point that I was feeling it right along with them.
I did not enjoy the second half of the book as much as the first half. The story seemed a little rushed and it lost my attention a few times. If I was rating this book on the second half only I would give it a 3 star. I just felt like it lost some of the chemistry and emotion that I love so much. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, just not as good as the first half.
The Characters...
I found Angie to be likeable in a broken, messed up kind of way. What I appreciated about her was that she was not the inexperienced "good girl" virgin that is depicted quite often in these types of stories. She knew exactly what she wanted and went after it. Although haunted with secrets she was not the damsel in distress to the extreme which can get annoying.
Evan is off the charts in the hot department and will have many, many women swooning. He is the picture perfect bad boy. In his case he actually is bad with many dangerous secrets and not just the misunderstood guy with the bad boy attitude. I have no doubt that readers will thoroughly enjoy his take charge attitude in and out of the bedroom.
Although this is the first book in a new series I am happy to say that you are not left hanging at the end. The next books will be about Tyler and Cole, Evan's partners and friends. This is the first book by J. Kenner that I have read and I will be checking out her other work as well as looking for the rest of this series.

Sounds pretty good. I just started this a few days ago, but I've put it aside for the moment to read The Destiny of Violet and Luke - I'll give this a go next!
