Feature and Follow Friday #74 (We're the Featured Blogger!)

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme that allows book bloggers to interact with each other and find new blogs! It has two hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. The rules are...

(Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
(Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers
Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog.

When did you start blogging?
We started blogging in 2011 but didn't get really serious about it until 2013.

What is your favorite part of book blogging?
That's an easy one...the books!

What type of books do you mainly blog about?
We both like a variety of genres so you will see all kinds on our blog. Historical fiction is a favourite for both of us but we blog about YA, NA, Contemporary Fiction, Mystery & Thrillers, you name it we blog about it.

What are your favorite books?
This is a tough question to answer. Terri would say anything by Kate Morton and I'm not sure if I can pick one. My favourite love story of all time is The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. I also loved The Fault in our Stars by John Green and anything by Colleen Hoover. You can never go wrong with Diane Chamberlain either.

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
The best thing has been connecting with all of the amazing authors and bloggers. The book blogging community is amazing and we are so glad to be a part of it!

This Weeks Question
If you could teleport into ANY story, which would you chose? - Suggested by Life Is Reading.

Terri's Answer:
This is a difficult question to answer because I tend to gravitate towards tragic stories.  I really don't want to experience all of the tragedy I read about in the historical fiction novels I have read.  I think perhaps maybe teleporting myself in to Faking It by Leah Marie Brown.  The reason being that it takes place in Europe on a bike tour, the hot men are plentiful and the main character is such a mess that everything would be one disaster after another.  I think I would get more exercise from the laughter than the bike tour!

Kristine's Answer:

I'm with Terri on this one. A lot of the stories that I love are not the happiest of stories so I really wouldn't want to be a part of them. I think any story that takes place in an interesting setting or location would work for me. So thinking of books I have read recently maybe I'd teleport into Lone Star by Paullina Simons and get to see Latvia, Poland and Italy.

Which would you chose?

That is our Feature and Follow Friday for this week! Comment down below if you're a new follower of ours with a link to your blog and we will make sure to follow you back. You can follow us via gfc, bloglovin, email, facebook and/or twitter.

  8. CONGRATS on being the featured blog this week!

"Faking It" sounds great! I feel so sorry for the girl in the novel, though. But the fact that she felt she had to lie about her virginity in order for her fiance to accept her, means he was no good, anyway. Good riddance, I say!! I woud love to be this girl, and have my revenge by touring the world!

Thanks for sgaring, and happy reading!! : )
