Pierce Harrison--yes,
that Pierce Harrison, black sheep of the wealthy Harrison clan--has come
home to his family's luxurious Long Island compound. The big question
is why the dangerously sexy soccer star agreed to coach a kids' soccer
team. His co-coach Abby McCord should be grateful. Instead she's fending
off some seriously smoldering advances from the scandal-ridden athlete.
Good thing bad boys are so not her type . . .
Abby is definitely not lacking in passion, but the sweet-faced beauty needs to learn a thing or two about taking a team to the championship--and a whole lot about how to let a man into her once-broken heart. Pierce definitely knows how to make the moves, but will Abby trust that the bachelor the world has condemned as a scoundrel can settle down with the one woman who has taken hold of his heart?

Terri's Thoughts
I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. The expected publication date is April 26th, 2016.
I must start with giving Gracen kudo's on one item. The cover of the book matches exactly the description of Pierce in the book. So often the cover does not match and I have to admit this attention to detail is one of my pet peeves. Also, a hot tattooed soccer (football) player? Think David Beckham and it really sets the yummy tone for this story.
This story was refreshing for me. Given that both characters were upfront and honest with each other from the get go was a welcome change. Not that this eliminates any conflict, it does allow the reader to truly get behind both characters and want good things for them.
Then there is the bad boy image of Pierce. Phooey. He was a teddy bear from the very beginning. Maybe this is the reason why so many girls fall for the bad boys, hoping they turn out to be like Pierce. We all know that is not how it usually plays out but then again this is fiction. A girl can always dream.
I liked how the romance progressed in this story. It seemed realistic and believable. When it progressed to the steamy scenes, get out your windshield wipers! It was dripping off of the page.
I read a lot of stories in this genre and I find that sometimes I get a little bit tired of the same old, same old. This story did not feel that way and as a result I sailed through to the ending. For fans of this genre, you will not be disappointed.
