I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book has just been released.
This is the second in the Seaside Heat series. Although I have read the first story, this can definitely be read as a stand alone story. Due to its short length, I will not divulge any of the plot as I feel the synopsis does a good job in describing the plot. Instead I will get a little philosophical.
This is the classic case of instant attraction where two people think they can succumb to the physical attraction without any emotional investment. This of course is never the case as feelings always come in to play no matter how objective the players try to be. One must be crazy to think that they can keep a relationship physical only.
On that note, there is quite a bit of sexy time packed in to this short story. For those who like their reads steamy and detailed, this would be a good choice. There is not a whole lot left to the imagination and it seems to be the main focal point of the story. I expected this after reading the first in the series.
Overall this was a fast and steamy read. While it does not offer any surprises it was a good distraction.
