I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. The expected publication date is October 25th, 2016.
It is clear that Heyford has a strong knowledge of everything wine related and in wine production as this is the focal point of the story. In fact, for me, it was what I found most interesting. Putting aside the plot, I found myself fascinated with the details provided regarding the production of wine. I found this somewhat ironic as I myself am not a big fan of wine.
As for the story of Juniper and Manolo, this book provides exactly what is expected. With the alpha male in Manolo, and the strong female lead in Juniper. It was evident from their first meeting that they would be drawn together. The best part for me was how Manolo took care of Juniper without even realizing that she was changing everything he thought hew wanted in life. It was interesting to see this unfold.
While not offering an surprises with the love aspect of the story, what it did offer was a little bit of education in the winery industry. A good read.
