Lowen arrives at the Crawford home, ready to sort through years of Verity's notes and outlines, hoping to find enough material to get her started. What Lowen doesn't expect to uncover in the chaotic office is an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. Page after page of bone-chilling admissions, including Verity's recollection of what really happened the day her daughter died.
Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, knowing its contents would devastate the already grieving father. But as Lowen's feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife's words. After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her.

Kristine's Thoughts:
I won't get into details of this book because it has already been reviewed thousands of times. Besides, the less you know the better. I will say that it plays with your mind and you will not be able to put it down. When it's done you will not be done. This book will continue to play with your mind long after that last page is turned. What an absolutely incredible story with twists, turns, questions, theories and a whole lot of mind blowing.
I don't want to tell Colleen to stop writing what she has because that would devestate me but she can definitely write more of this. I'll be first in line to buy it.
At this point I am in awe of Colleen. I think she can write just about anything in any genre and it would be amazing.
Colleen Hoover what have you done to me?
I knew this book was different...
I didn't read the synopsis...
It is never necessary with her books...
But I did not expect this!
Wow, just wow!
