Terri's Thoughts

This is the second book I have read by Colleen Hoover and as I did with the last one, I chose to listen to this in audio format.  I must take a second to acknowledge that.  I really enjoyed the fact that the voices of Auburn and Owen were narrated by two different people.  This kept the story very simple and easy to follow along and had less variation in voices.

This is my favorite of Hoover's work that I have read thus far.  Yes, yes I know, it is only the second however that doesn't change the fact that this is my favorite.  As I continue to read her work things may change but for now it holds the number one spot.

I now really understand why my sister keeps saying that nobody does chemistry and relationships like Hoover.  From the heartbreaking beginning to the story, to the first meeting of Auburn and Owen, I could feel every emotion like I was experiencing it myself.  With every look, touch and conversation, I was falling in love with the story as much as Auburn and Owen were falling in love with each other.  Through every bump in the storyline, I just knew that there had to be a way out of their impossible situations or I would have been devastated.

This story has been reviewed many times so I wont discuss any more of the plot other than one thing  The final chapter.  Wow.  IT JUST GUTTED ME.  It is also what pushed this story to my favorite Colleen Hover read.  All I can say is just read it.  If there is anyone out there who has not yet discovered Colleen Hoovers work, start with this one and you will find yourself binge reading the rest as I plan on doing.
