Review: Where She Went by Gayle Forman

It's been three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life.

And three years he's spent wondering why.

When their paths cross again in New York City, Adam and Mia are brought back together for one life-changing night.

Adam finally has the opportunity to ask Mia the questions that have been haunting him. But will a few hours in this magical city be enough to lay their past to rest, for good - or can you really have a second chance at first love?

Terri's Thoughts

This will be short review for two reasons.  The first is that there are already a ton of reviews for this book and the second is that it is a sequel and I do not want to give anything away for those who have not read the first one.

The synopsis on the book jacket summarizes the story well.  The difference between this story and the first one is that it is told from Adam's perspective instead of Mia.  Through a series of flashbacks we learn what has transpired over the last three years and all of the unresolved feelings Adam has for Mia since she walked out on him.

This was an easy read and quite enjoyable.  I have to admit that it did lose something from the first book, I can't put my finger on what it is, but it was entertaining nonetheless.  I am glad that my nieces introduced me to this series.
