I had a really good time with this story. Being along for the ride as Annie finally had a chance to break free and be a normal teenager on the cusp of adulthood was a fun read. The fact that she had a before twenty "bucket list" to play catch up with was entertaining.
Although a fun concept the highlight of the story for me was the romance (no spoilers hence no names given). A lot of times you find yourself dying from anticipation and wishing the characters would just surrender to each other. In this case it was the anticipation that was the best part. It was the stolen eye contact and silent communication that expressed so much in this story. I can not really express it but the connection was so much more than physical. I sighed every time there was eye contact in the rear view mirror. This part of the story was very well done.
Although there were parts of the story where I thought it was walking the line between girls having fun and girls being stupid and putting themselves in dangerous situations, the story was always brought back before it crossed the line. Parts reminded me of when I was first on my own and having a good time with the experience but sadly it was the more tame parts.
I have to admit that I really enjoyed this read. I can see it appealing to fans of NA who enjoy reading about the college aged crowd. I think there may be another book coming out with one of the secondary characters and I will be eagerly awaiting it's release to continue the journey.

I am definitely a fan of NA romance so this sounds like one for me :) The only thing that would bother me is that it sounds like there might be a love triangle... but maybe that's not the case? Great review though!
