Kristine's Thoughts:
**I received an advanced readers copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!**
This book is most definitely for fans of erotica. It is filled with smoking hot scenes in every place imaginable from back alleys and office desks to airplanes and hotel rooms. You really have to be a big fan of erotica to enjoy this book because there is a lot of sex and it is all very descriptive. A few times I had to re-read a passage or two and wondered on occasion if what they were doing was physically possible. Parker was very creative in setting up her scenes.
This is a story of two fierce competitors that hate each other in every way but one. I don't want to say that it is a romance because it is more about sexual chemistry in this instalment for the majority of the pages. To sum it up I can say that it is all sex and drama.
This is the first book in a series and as I read I thought that the next instalment might be about one of the secondary characters. That was not the case. Cassidy and Shaw's story does not tie up nice and neat and you are left hanging at the end. I'm not sure how I feel about that because I have a feeling that the next instalment may centre on a love triangle with Casey. However, I will be sure to read it so that I know how the story ends.
