Kristine's Thoughts:
I have read a lot of Lauren Layne's books and I tend to read them before or as soon as they are released. Unfortunately I am a little behind in my reading and dropped the ball on her new series. From This Day Forward is 0.5 in The Wedding Belles series.
I am a fan of Layne's writing and always have been. She pens some of the most quirky and likeable characters of this genre. Needless to say, I wasn't at all surprised that I liked this novella. At only 100 pages the story moved quickly and it didn't take long for those pages to start burning up. Yes, it was somewhat predictable but I liked Leah and Jason enough that it didn't matter.
It's always difficult to write my thoughts on a novella because I don't want to give anything away. I will say that this sneak peak at the series tells me that it is going to be as fun and enjoyable as all of the others I have read thus far. I can always count on Lauren Layne to satisfy my romance itch.
